Takeaway Delivery Comparison

What is a takeaway delivery service?

Food takeaway delivery is a courier service whereby independent businesses, stores, cafes and restaurants are ordered from and the food is delivered to customers through a website, phone or app.

Examples of takeaway services;

  • Deliveroo
  • Just Eat
  • Uber Eats

When researching into the above companies we decided to search in the Cheshire area to discover what healthy options were on offer and its safe to say we were pleasantly surprised. There was a vast choice of healthy options from falafel, wraps and salads to vegetarian options, vegan and low calorie. From all three takeaway services there were food options and restaurants open for delivery all day long, so no matter what time of the day it was if you didn’t want to cook or leave your house then you don’t have to worry about it.

Are you hungry but don’t have the effort or supplies to cook? You will be spoilt for choice with these takeaway services. Whether you fancy some comfort food, a healthy meal or just a snack, visit these and you won’t be hungry for long.

Deliveroo’s CEO and founder Will Shu, in 2013, moved to London and discovered all of the amazing restaurants it had to offer, but he was surprised that so little of them did home delivery. He then made it his own mission to deliver the best local restaurants directly to everyone’s doors.

Deliveroo offers reliable and fast delivery, the customer is able to track this on their phone and app, each year the business has seen a 650% revenue growth. This isn’t just great for customers but restaurants who join with them too, their revenue can be increased by around 30%, which also creates jobs within the hospitality industry. Deliveroo has passion for food and bringing individuals and groups of people even more options. There are incredible restaurants everywhere and they believe everyone should be able to access it.
